Good place. Posted by Picasa

It is indeed a good place, but it is Grand Central Terminal, complete with its 125-foot-high vaulted ceiling with constellations painted and lighted upon it. The late, great, and sorely missed, Penn Station designed by McKim, Meade and White as their crowning acievement, was torn down in 1966 and replaced by the present "room" in the basement of Madison Square Garden. Penn Station's destruction was the catalyst for the National Register to protect our architectual heritage. Grand Central, the New York Central Railroad's New York terminal, benefited from this legislation shortly thereafter. It is, in fact, one of the world's great indoor spaces.
Thank you. Pops.
