Mardi Gras was Creedence Clearwater Revival's final release (1972). This is the album that Tom Fogerty left before and that Stu Cook (bass) and Doug Clifford (drums) got to write and sing on. Track 3, 'Need Someone To Hold' is a Doug Clifford song. Worth listening to! The slide guitar in Stu Cook's 'Sail Away' gets an 'A' too. This album got crappy reviews when it was released. It may be one of the weakest CCR albums but damn, it's good.
